Central Engineering is the primary source for the development of scientific instrumentation for the Center for Astrophysics. CE staff conceive, design, fabricate, test, integrate/install, operate, and maintain state-of-the-art instruments for astronomical and astrophysical data collection.
Technical Resources and Library
The Computation Facility is the Information Technology department at the CfA. The CF provides an array of IT infrastructure as well as scientific computing services for SAO and Harvard scientific, technical, and administrative staff.
The Wolbach Library staff is dedicated to providing timely information and research services to the staff at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA), the Harvard University and Smithsonian Institution communities, and the international astronomical community.
